iPhone 18 Series: Pre-order now, available from September 18
The iPhone 18 series is Apple's most significant iPhone launch in years. Pre-orders open Saturday, September 12 at 4:00 PM, with retail availability from Friday, September 18. The lineup introduces three models: iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the all-new iPhone Duo, Apple's first folding iPhone.
iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max
The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are powered by the A20 Pro chip, built on a 2-nanometer process and delivering up to 40% faster graphics than A19 Pro. Both models feature three 48MP rear cameras, including a Main camera with variable aperture, a first for any iPhone. The variable aperture offers four physical settings from f/1.48 to f/4.0, letting you balance light gathering and depth of field in a way that was previously only possible on dedicated cameras.
The iPhone 18 Pro features a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display weighing 211g, while the Pro Max steps up to 6.9 inches and 249g with higher battery ratings of up to 45 hours video playback versus 36 hours on the Pro. Both models support a physical SIM and eSIM, compatible with Omantel and Ooredoo, and come in four finishes: Black, Silver, Glacier, and Burgundy.
iPhone Duo: Apple's first folding iPhone
The iPhone Duo introduces folding to the iPhone lineup. It opens to a 7.6-inch inner display with a nano-texture coating that reduces glare, and closes to a 5.4-inch outer screen for everyday one-handed use. Powered by the same A20 Pro chip as the Pro lineup, the Duo uses Touch ID in the side button rather than Face ID. Its dual-battery system delivers up to 44 hours of video playback on the outer screen and 31 hours on the inner display.
The Duo carries a 48MP Dual Fusion camera system on the rear, plus three exclusive camera modes: Duo Preview shows the person being photographed a live view on the outer screen; Smart Take fires the shutter automatically when everyone in a group is ready; and Kid Cue plays animations on the outer display to attract young children's attention. The iPhone Duo launches October 23, with pre-orders from October 16 at 4:00 PM. Prices in Oman start from OMR 333.000 and it is available in Night Sky and Star White.
iPhone 17 Series
The iPhone 17 series is Apple's biggest step forward in years prior to the 18 lineup, built around Apple Intelligence and the A19 chip family. For the first time, every model in the lineup features a 120Hz ProMotion display, brighter screens, upgraded cameras, and longer battery life. The lineup includes four models: the iPhone 17, the all-new ultra-thin iPhone Air, the iPhone 17 Pro, and the iPhone 17 Pro Max, with the Plus model retired in favour of the iPhone Air.
iPhone 17
The standard iPhone 17 features a larger 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the A19 chip with 8GB of RAM. It runs on iOS 26 and pairs a 48MP Dual Fusion camera system (Main + Ultra Wide) with a new 18MP Center Stage front camera. A tougher Ceramic Shield 2 front, up to 30 hours of video playback, and fresh colours round out a phone that finally brings flagship features to the entry model.
iPhone Air
The iPhone Air introduces an entirely new category. At just 5.6mm thick and 165 grams, it is the thinnest and lightest iPhone Apple has ever made, wrapped in a durable titanium frame with Ceramic Shield 2 on both sides. Despite its slim profile, it packs the A19 Pro chip and a 6.5-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with ProMotion up to 120Hz and Always-On functionality. The iPhone Air carries a single 48MP Fusion main camera and delivers up to 27 hours of video playback.
iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max
The iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are the most powerful iPhone 17 models. Both feature a heat-forged aluminium unibody driven by the A19 Pro chip. The 17 Pro has a 6.3-inch display and the 17 Pro Max a 6.9-inch panel, both with ProMotion 120Hz. The Pro models share a triple 48MP camera system, with the 17 Pro Max extending to 8x optical-quality zoom. Battery life reaches up to 33 hours (Pro) and 39 hours (Pro Max) of video playback.
iPhone 16 Series
The iPhone 16 series remains an excellent choice for shoppers who want Apple Intelligence and strong performance at a more accessible price. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus feature 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR displays powered by the A18 chip, with a 48MP Fusion dual-camera system and improved battery life. The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max add the A18 Pro chip, 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch ProMotion displays, and a pro triple-camera system with up to 5x telephoto zoom. With iOS 26 support, the iPhone 16 line delivers most of the modern experience for less.
