Sharaf DG proudly launched on 1 Jan 2016, DG Privilege to provide exclusive benefits to our valuable customers.
Every month new customers can become members by registering. All customers who are in a tier enjoy the benefits of the tier for a period of 12 months from the date of entering the tier.
Customers fall in Silver, Gold or Platinum tiers based on purchases they have made in the previous 12 months period.
Q. What are the benefits to me as a customer?
You get exclusive benefits including one time gifts, bonus Air Miles, Exclusive Offers and much more. Refer to our benefits table for more details.
You will get Welcome Emails, Monthly Emails with your Tier Status, Offers and Invites for Events. You can move up a Tier by increasing your purchase value from Sharaf DG.
Sharaf DG will continue to keep adding more benefits with time.
Q. How can I join the program?
You are automatically part of the program if your cumulative spend is at least AED 5000 in the last 12 months. Based on the amount of spend you could be a Silver Member (spend between AED 5000 and AED 9999), Gold Member (spend between AED 10000 and AED 24999) or a Platinum Member (spend greater than or equal to AED 25000).
Upon qualification based on above criterion, we will reach you through an SMS / call / email within 30 days to confirm your contact details & send you your one-time welcome gift.
Q. What all purchases are considered for qualifying for a tier?
The qualifying purchases are those purchases of electronics hard goods and accessories from Sharaf DG stores, Website, Mobile App. It excludes purchases from 3rd party sellers on Sharaf DG Marketplace, all Gift Cards, Corporate purchases and Bulk purchases.
A valid UAE mobile number has to be mentioned on the invoice for the purchase to be considered valid for calculation of yearly spends under DG Privilege.
Q. For how long will I enjoy the benefits?
Once you enter the program, you enjoy the benefits of the tier for the next 12 months. During this period if you increase your spend, you will automatically move to a higher tier, wherein you shall enjoy the benefits of the new tier for the next 12 months. In case you do not meet the required spend in the 12 months following your tier qualification, your status will be changed downwards to the tier that you qualify for as per your spends.
Your cumulative spend shall be calculated for the last 12 months to verify your progress in the program and the same will be shared with you through monthly emails.

Q. Why should I share personal contact information?
Sharing of personal information with Sharaf DG helps us to send you information about new offers, discounts and new launches. By sharing your details, you will also be able to keep a track of your tier status and spends, receive your one time welcome gift, get access to new launch offers before regular customers and to receive monthly exclusive offers.
Q. Is membership to the program transferable?
No, the membership to the program is not transferable. Hence at the time of purchase or when availing some of the exclusive benefits connected to the tier, you may be asked to provide a valid photo ID.
Q. How can I change my Mobile number in my Membership details?
To change mobile number, you can walk into the customer care section in any Sharaf DG store and provide the new mobile number. You would be asked to present a valid photo ID.
Q. How can I keep track of the purchases?
You will receive monthly e-mails which shall include statement of account mentioning your cumulative spend in the last 12 months.
Q. Why should I download and signup on the Sharaf DG Mobile app?
You will be able to see your tier and membership validity in our mobile app. It will also help you easily access the monthly offers applicable to you each month.
Sharaf DG Mobile App provides information about products, prices & promotions across all retailers in UAE, stock availability at Sharaf DG stores, helps you to share information with friends and family about products. These features help you to always get the best prices and promotions in the market.
You can buy from the Sharaf DG app and later collect the product from Sharaf DG stores/lockers or get home delivery.
When you download and sign up on the Sharaf DG App you get one-time Bonus Air Miles. The same would be issued to your Air Miles card provided on the app.
Q. When will I get the one time gift?
When you reach a tier (Silver, Gold, and Platinum) and if you have provided your details through registration, you would be eligible to get the gift. The same would be issued within 30days of you reaching the tier.
Note: This is a one-time gift and not valid on renewal, downgrade or re-entry into the tier.
Q. How can I enjoy benefits of free Data Transfer?
At the time of billing, you have to provide your mobile number to the cashier. If you belong to the DG Privilege tiers, data transfer will be provided free of charge. Free data transfer is available at our DG Help Mobile kiosk at the store.
Note: The service may not be available at all stores.
Q. How can I avail complimentary Gift Wrapping?
When you buy a product at Sharaf DG, you can avail complimentary gift wrapping services inside the store. At the time of billing, you have to provide the mobile number to the cashier. If you belong to the DG Privilege tiers, Gift Wrapping will be provided free of charge.
Q. What are Invites to new product launches and events?
Product Launches and Events are a great way to know a new product and buy them. Sharaf DG will reach out to DG Privilege members and send them an e-mail inviting them to new product launches and events at Sharaf DG stores.
We also have special pre-orders exclusively available for DG Privilege members.
Q. What are bonus Air Miles?
DG Privilege members get bonus Air Miles on all qualifying purchases throughout the year.
The bonus Air Miles will be issued in the month following the purchase. Bonus Air Miles will be issued only if the Air Miles number is mentioned on the invoice
Q. What are the benefits on DG Shield and Extended Warranty?
DG Privilege members get discounts on purchase of Extended Warranty based on the tiers. Customers in Gold and Platinum Tier who have bought DG Shield on a product do not have to pay the 10% charges towards Repair (Instance).
Q. Why should I share my Birthday?
DG Privilege members shall receive bonus Air Miles when they shop in their birthday month (as mentioned while registering for the program)
Q. What benefits do customers get when they shop Online?
DG Privilege members enjoy free shipping based on their tiers. The shipping charges are reimbursed to the customers in the next month. The same are issued as e-vouchers which can be redeemed on Sharaf DG website
Q. What are Exclusive Offers?
DG Privilege members enjoy monthly exclusive offers as per the tiers. These offers are communicated through emails and will also be available at stores upon identification as a DG Privilege customer
Q. What are the benefits on Return Policy?
DG Privilege (Gold and Platinum members) will enjoy extended return policy by which they can return products (which are in packed and unopened condition) back to Sharaf DG. DG Privilege (Gold and Platinum members) also enjoy complimentary pick up of products (which are in packed and unopened condition) in case of return from home/office.
